Providing companionship to patients in their homes or in facilities, providing patients with rides to medical appointments, picking up essential items such as medications or groceries, supporting veteran patients with visits and/or recognition ceremonies, offering phone or in-person bereavement support to the loved ones of patients who have recently died, helping with our program for children who have lost a loved one, assisting with organizing or staffing special events and fundraisers, connecting with patients by phone, helping us with office work such as filing, mailings, word processing or spreadsheets, providing patient support, greeting or kitchen support at our Hospice House or offering respite visits for patients so that their caregivers may have a break.
